Step By Step Cover Measurements

There are several trim options available for residential windows. To ensure that you get the best cover for your RetroFit Ladder, please take accurate measurements. Below are illustrations of the three most common trim types. If you can identify the location of the studs for padeye placement before making your purchase, you can ensure that you select the correct size cover.   Please measure from one arrow to the other. Use this measurement to select the size you need when ordering.  It is very important to note that the cover will be 1.5” wider than the size ordered.

Window Trim WITH a Stool

Take this measurement, and choose a cover at least 2 inches larger.

Window Trim with NO Stool

Take this measurement, and choose a cover at least 2 inches larger.

Window WITHOUT Trim

Take this measurement and choose a cover at least 6 inches larger.
